A History of the NRG Association, the nrg and nrgology The NRG Association was founded in 2003 to meet the needs of Energy Therapists and Teachers. In 2006 it extended the services offered to vPsychic Mediums and other forms of energy worker, thus expanding the information provided to encompass agency services and resources for those who, not only conduct psychic readings and treatments, but also work in the Paranormal Investigation Sector. The reasons for this widening of focus, was due to the number of Mediums the NRG assisted throughout 2005, gaining them regular employment. During this time, the NRG sensed a distinct need for accurate Psychics that had secured a high standard of qualification in their field, and were accompanied by PI insurance. Recognising the fact that no arena existed for Psychics, Mediums, and other energy workers, outside of the traditional organisations, the NRG Association decided to assist those who wish to move away from tradition and discover new ways of practicing. Providing valuable services such as accreditation of certificates, regularly updated teaching materials, frequent newsletters, and quality information such as energy shift forecasts, the Association's goal was to offer support, whilst nurturing the skills of the individual members. The primary endeavour of the NRG was to offer resources that benefited Practitioner and Teacher, such as an online reference library of techniques and FAQ, legal and administrative information, and a directory of Practitioners and Masters, in addition to regular updates on issues affecting Energy Therapies and vPsychic Mediums. There were treatment guides for all energy therapies, available to Practitioners, presenting an ever-increasing range of 'treatments to fit ailments' information and news on energy frequency evolution. With an escalating need for regulation in the energy therapy world, the Association offered teaching tools and assessment criteria which created a foundation on which Master Teachers could build and Practitioners could use as parameters of their knowledge base. It was the aim of the NRG to offer assessment of practical therapy techniques and physical information, thus ensuring that students were training to a particular standard, whilst leaving individual teaching to the Master Teachers themselves. 2007 was a year of challenge and difficulties for the NRG and after much deliberation; Martyn Pentecost stepped down as Director from the beloved organisation he had founded four years earlier. The organisation disappeared soon after. In 2009, after a year away from teaching, Martyn created vDynamics, a small business aimed at teaching the therapies he had created over the past decade and offering information to people about the philosophies those methods are based on. This return to teaching on an intentionally small scale gave Martyn the opportunity to heal, to rekindle his passion for working with people and the chance to experience the overwhelming support from people all over the world. The NRG was sorely missed and left a huge hole, not only in people’s professional lives, but in their hearts as well. So with the co-founding of the mPowr Company, Martyn decided it was time for the NRG to be reborn – a phoenix organisation that would grow to be even more valuable than its predecessor and just as loved by people all over the world – nrgology is the first step on reclaiming that territory. Martyn says – “nrgology is the seed of what I believe will be an internationally recognised association. It will stand for high quality and value in teaching, energy therapy practice, vPsychic Mediumship and Personal Development.
